Upgrading the Radiographic Room Without Starting from Scratch
An established orthopedic clinic in Atlantic County, New Jersey recently modernized its imaging suite with a Del Medical 50kW FWFC tubestand system. The installation included an EV800 table, a VS300 wallstand with a Siemens LED collimator, and precise alignment of the Del FWFC tubestand to the VS300 wallstand to ensure smooth movement and accurate positioning.
Rather than replacing everything, the clinic chose a smart upgrade path. The existing Fuji detector package was repurposed and integrated into the new radiographic room, along with a CPI CMP200 console and Fuji FDX console. This approach maximized their previous investment while delivering the benefits of a modern, high-performance X-ray system.
Improved Workflow, Consistent Imaging, and Long-Term Value
The new 50kW system provides the power and consistency needed for orthopedic imaging, supporting clear visualization of fractures, joint spaces, and post-operative studies. With improved alignment, upgraded components, and seamless digital integration, technologists can work more efficiently and patients benefit from faster exams and dependable image quality.
From planning and equipment coordination through installation and final calibration, the project was managed end-to-end to ensure minimal disruption to clinic operations. By combining new technology with repurposed digital assets, the clinic now has a reliable imaging environment designed to serve its patients well into the future.
